  • Day 1 : Mumbai - Tel Aviv - Jerusalem

    Arrival Tel Aviv airport at 0340 hrs by flight no. LY 072 of El Al Israel airlines. After the customs and immigration formalities, we enter into the arrival hall where our guide will meet us and lead us to the waiting coach. Drive to Jerusalem. Check-in hotel. Enjoy your leisurely breakfast and take rest till 1300 hrs. After lunch in a local restaurant, we proceed to visit the Shepherds’ Fields where the good news about the birth of Jesus Christ was announced to the Shepherds while they were watching their flocks in the fields. From here, we drive to the Manger Square in Bethlehem and enter into the Church of the Nativity. We will see a grotto where according to the Christian belief, the Babe of Jesus was born to Virgin Mary in this grotto. We will spend sometime in the local market and return to hotel. Dinner & overnight at hotel

  • Day 2 : Jerusalem

    Start the day at Mt. Scopus, Jerusalem. Enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of this Holy City. Jerusalem occupies a unique place in the world for each of the world’s three great religions – Christianity, Judaism and Islam. In the Old City of Jerusalem we will visit the Western Wall, and the actual site of the Second Temple and enter into the Temple Mount where we can see the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, two of the Holy sites for Islam. Our tour includes the Mount of Olives where you can find a Grotto in which Jesus taught the Lord’s Prayer to his disciples.  You  will  also  see  the  Garden  of  Gethsemane  where  Judas,  one  of  his  disciples betrayed Jesus. From here, we will proceed to Mount Zion to see the traditional tomb of King David and the room of the Last Supper where Jesus shared his last meal before arrested by the Roman  soldiers  in  the  Garden  of  Gethsemane.  After  lunch,  we  will  walk  through  the  Via Dolorosa the way of Cross to Calvary and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, housing both the traditional site of Crucifixion and the Tomb of the Resurrection. Return to hotel. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

  • Day 3 : Jerusalem

    Today’s tour includes Yad Vashem the official memorial to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust, established in 1953, located at the foot of Mt. Hertzl. At a short distance from here, we will visit Ein Karem a picturesque village in the south western outskirts of  Jerusalem. According to the tradition, John the Baptist, cousin of Jesus Christ was born in this beautiful village where we can see a Church dedicated to him. After lunch, we proceed to visit the Israel Museum with a detailed model of Jerusalem from the time of the Second Temple and the Shrine of the Book, which houses the Dead Sea Scrolls. Drive by the Knesset (House of Parliament) and the campus of Hebrew University. Return to hotel for overnight.

  • Day 4 : Masada & Dead Sea

    Today we drive through the Judaean Desert to the Dead Sea the lowest point on earth. En-route to the Dead Sea, we proceed to visit Masada Fortress which is situated on an isolated cliff in the Desert. The site was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001. Ascend by cable car to the  fortress, which  was  the  last  stronghold of  the  Jewish  Zealots  in their war  against  the Romans.  Visit  the  Excavations,  King  Herod’s  Palace,  the  Synagogue,  Bathhouse  and  much more. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Roman camps and the Dead Sea. Visit the site of the Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. You can also enjoy a float’ on the salty, mineral rich water of the Dead Sea. We enter into Jericho, claimed to be the Oldest City (10,000 years old) in the world. Here you can visit the remains of the old city of Jericho and the Mount of Temptation where Jesus was tempted by Satan. Return to hotel. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

  • Day 5 : Jerusalem - Tel Aviv – Nazareth

    We check-out from hotel and drive to the north of this country through the highway. Our first stop will be in the city of Jaffa (Joppa) where we will take a short walking tour in picturesque alleys of the old, fortified town. Continue the  tour to Old Jaffa, one of the oldest port cities in the world. Visit the ancient ruins and walk along the Artist’s Quarter. While in Tel Aviv, visit the Independence Hall where the establishment of the State of Israel was declared. Spend some time on the beautiful beach of Tel Aviv along the Mediterranean. We drive along the coast to the archaeological ruins of Caesarea, built by Herod the Great in honour of Augustus Caesar. Excavations undertaken since 1950 in this city have uncovered a Roman temple, amphitheatre, hippodrome (which seated 20,000 spectators), the aqueduct, and other ruins of Roman and later times. Of particular interest is a Roman inscription, found in 1961, which mentions Pontius Pilate, Roman procurator of Judaea at the time of Jesus’ crucifixion. This is the first mention of Pilate ever found that can be accurately dated within his lifetime. From there we go on to visit Megiddo where the book of Revelation mentions a great battle at the place called “Armageddon”. It is an ancient city inhabited continuously for more than five millennia (6000 –
    500 B.C). We proceed to Haifa a beautiful city built on the Mount of Carmel. We visit the Church of Stella Maris where you can see a Cave in which Prophet Elijah hid himself from the clutches of Isabel wife of King Ahab and also the Bahai Gardens. Drive to Nazareth and check-in hotel.

  • Day 6 : Nazareth – Golan Heights – Galilee

    A tourist to Israel is strongly advised to visit the northern edge of the State of Israel, Kiryat Shmona, the border town of Lebanon and also the Golan Heights on the Israeli – Syria border.  We drive to Tel Dan,  to see the origin of River Jordan and then on to Panias or Caesarea Philippi where the Lord Jesus reveled his disciples for the first time in His Ministry. We will also see the Hermon Springs and the remains of a Byzantine Church where a room has been dedicated to the miracle of “Jesus healing the bleeding woman”. From here, we drive to Golan Heights and see a panoramic view of the Israeli fields, down below with Apple, Plum, Nectarine, Peach, Apricot and Pomegranate trees and also the glimpses of some of the cities including Quneitra in Syria. Return to hotel. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

  • Day 7 : Nazareth – Cana – Kibbutz – Nazareth

    After breakfast, we checkout from hotel and to proceed to Galilee and see the Chapel on the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus during His ministry gave the Sermon on the Mount followed by the Church of the Multiplication where Jesus fed multitudes with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish. From here, we move on to the Church of St. Peter the primacy erected in memory of St. Peter who is considered as the first Pope of Christians. We also visit Capernaum, the town of Jesus. Then we drive to a Kibbutz to see the working of the Kibbutz and have a buffet lunch here. From here, we travel to Nazareth, where Jesus spent His childhood and visit the Church of Annunciation, built on the site where archaeologists believe the Archangel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary. Proceed to nearby Cana to visit the Wedding Church where Jesus performed His first miracle, turning water into wine. Drive through the Jordan Valley to Beit Shean with its recently excavated amphitheater. Visit the excavations of this beautiful Preserved Roman City which was destroyed in an earthquake. From here we proceed to the Ben Gurion Airport to take the flight no. LY 071 of El Al Israel airlines which will depart at 21.00 hrs for Mumbai.
